Every fifty years someone gives a speech that changes the worlds. Martin Luther King’s speech about having a dream, Barack Obama urging that yes, we can, Greta Thunberg’s How dare you?

Nevertheless, how personal and genuine these messages are – the speakers most likely did not write their speeches all by themselves. Someone helped them.

If you really want people to perceive your message, you might not be the best person for the job, at least not by yourself. Furthermore, if you are more than one speaker, the different speeches for everyone needs to be linked together to achieve one coherent story. You will need energy, time for reflection, turning point and catharsis. In other words, you might need a scriptwriter.

During the autumn 2020 I was asked to write the speeches for the executives of a big vehicle factory, to a worldwide live broadcast… In December the successful event kicked off.
